Meredith and Ashby Part 2: Ceremony & Portraits

The week prior to this wedding was full of rain, hail, high winds and cloudy skies. The forecast for Saturday said 70% chance of the pattern repeating itself and when Meredith and Ashby went to set up their wedding on the night prior to the ceremony, Meredith said the weather was so terrible that she actually cried. I would have too. Many prayers went up that day... mine included. God granted us a cool but beautiful afternoon to see this beautiful (and very emotional) couple tie the knot at the base of the San Francisco peaks. I am quite sure that even if it had been storming they would have still had a smile on their faces. What a pleasure to see people so in love and joyful to commit themselves to one another. This is also a good time to mention my assistant photographer Reg Plett who came along and was a huge help in capturing a lot of the detail shots you'll see in this wedding including the one of their invitation in the tree. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help Reg!!

  1. The photos are so full of sweet memories. I like that one with the bride and his father(not sure) who looks like crying. It is full of emotion. :)
