Jay and Monique's Wedding Part 1

Carlos is my husband's best friend from high school. Through the years we've been to many of the Garcia family's celebrations. They have always been full of great food, raucous laughter... and dancing. From the beginning to the end. When his sister Monique got married last weekend - it was no exception. Only this time everything was exponentially louder, prouder and funnier. You see... Monique managed to find a guy with a family that can actually rival the Garcia clan for vivacious energy and downright spunk... and together it was magic! What a fun and beautiful day Jay and Monique  turned out to have. They did a first look since their ceremony was at sunset and we needed to use daylight for most of the portraits. The results were gorgeous... it's one of my first Phoenix weddings (the last one I did was 5 years ago) and I had so much fun working with a different environment. The Scottsdale Regency made a perfect backdrop for these photos and I think I snapped my favorite ring shot ever!

Ceremony and reception pics coming soon. Stay tuned.

  1. Oh my gosh. Working in the hospitality industry, I have seen so many brides and I must say that Mo is by far the most stunning. Her dress fit her perfectly and there was that special glow and you can see that in the photos. You did such an amazing job and thank you for capturing all the special moments from her and Jay's special day.. .It was truly a heart-warming and fun experience.
