Dave and Katy did something I've never seen done at a wedding. They did two ceremonies. The first that follows was full of non-traditional elements. Think Dr. Seuss readings and a solo walk down the isle. My favorite part though was a "wish tree" where during the middle of the ceremony the entire audience was asked to write a wish on a ribbon and tie it to their birch-made "tree". They plan on using the elements to create a chandelier of sorts in their room. Each person came and tied their wish to the tree and it gave them a chance to greet each guest. I thought it was wonderful.
